Upcoming PGE Tree Trimming & Removal
In the coming weeks, PGE will be in the area performing tree trimming and removal. Tree branches are one of the leading causes of power outages.
To prevent this, PGE has certified arborists, landscapers, and contractors who inspect and maintain plants and trees growing in, or near, the power line rights of way all year long.
You might see PGE crews or their contractors, Asplundh Tree Expert Company and Wright Tree Service, trimming or removing trees near you. This work happens in the power line rights of way, which could include the area next to, or within, your property line.
If you have any questions, please call PGE at 1-800-544-1794 or visit http://portlandgeneral.com/outages-safety/safety/tree-maintenance. If you need to cut branches or remove a tree near power lines, always contact PGE first.
